About Me

Zhaokun Wang

👋 Hey there!

I’m Zhaokun Wang, a Master’s candidate in Computational Linguistics (AI Track) at Heidelberg University, Germany, with a background in Computer Science and software engineering.

My main interests are LLM and VLM agents, multimodal AI, AI agent evaluation and safety, and practical AI systems. I’m especially interested in what happens when language models move beyond text generation and begin to interact with interfaces, tools, memory, and real-world environments.

Alongside research, I enjoy building systems that connect models, APIs, tools, and software infrastructure. My background spans both machine learning and full-stack engineering, so I tend to approach AI problems from both a research and an engineering perspective.
